Inert Comil^® - Nitrogen Purge System

The Quadro Comil^® is a high capacity, low dust and low noise (typically 70 dBA) mill. The Comil exerts minimal energy with no metal-to-metal contact while providing a consistently tight particle size distribution.  When processing in hazardous environments, more industry leaders have chosen to use the Comil over any other mill in its class.

To satisfy the stringent regulatory changes for processing in hazardous locations, Quadro has developed the inert Comil. The inert Comil has been supplied to many customers working with hazardous products in various industries.  Inert Comils are purged with Nitrogen, an inert gas, to mitigate the risk of dust explosion within the mill.  They are fitted with a control system to analyze the O2 level in the mill and control the N2 purge throughout the mill during a process cycle.  The compact design of the inert Comil is ideal for customers with limited floor space and can be retrofitted into existing process lines.
